Sales Veteran to Lead Company's Global Sales Expansion
Westborough, MA - March 27, 2001: Mangosoft Inc. (Nasdaq: BB: MGOF), a leading provider of
Internet-enabling business software and services, announced today that Doug Edwards has been promoted
to Vice President of Sales and Professional Services.
Edwards joined Mangosoft in February 2000 with more than 15 years of experience in sales and marketing
management. He initially led Mangosoft's Internet Operations Group where he negotiated contracts with
strategic partners and established a 24x7 technical support call center operation.
In his new role, Edwards will concentrate on developing and expanding Mangosoft's worldwide sales
and professional services program for the company's Mangomind Internet
File Sharing Service and

Web caching software. The expansion will include both direct and
channel sales initiatives.

Prior to joining Mangosoft, Edwards was the Director of Marketing for the $4 billion Enterprise
Business Unit of Bell Atlantic where he headed up an $850 million vertical market organization. He
also served as the Director of the $100 million Agent Sales Channel for Bell Atlantic's Large Business
Sales. Edwards received his MBA from Northeastern University and his BA in Management from University
of Massachusetts.
