Mangosoft, Inc. Forms Alliance With General Voice Technologies, Inc.

File sharing and online storage service facilitates mobility and accessibility of voice recognition files

Westborough, MA - June 4, 2001: Mangosoft Inc. (Nasdaq: BB: MGOF), a leading provider of Internet-enabling business software and services, and General Voice Technologies Inc., a pioneer in integrated voice recognition solutions, today announced a marketing alliance that will help make voice recognition technology easier and more accessible to users.

To use large vocabulary voice recognition applications, users must train their personal computers with their particular "voice model" so that the computer can learn their specific voice parameters. General Voice Technologies' VMM software enables users to save their personal voice model and transfer it to other machines, thus saving hours of training new machines with the specific voice model parameters. VMM also provides a backup of the voice model file.

Mangosoft's Mangomind file sharing and online storage service allows users to store their VMM file, which can be up to a 100MB, on a secure Internet drive and then retrieve and transfer it to other machines where they would like to use their voice model. Mangomind allows users to access their files from anywhere in the world and eliminates the need for costly removable media devices, such as zip drives.

According to TMA Associates, the demand for voice-activated products is expected to reach $36 billion by 2003.
