Mangosoft Signs Center For Talent Retention As Mangomind Customer
Provider of employee retention services selects Internet file sharing service to connect remote workers nationwide
Westborough, MA - July 9, 2001: Mangosoft, Inc. (OTC: BB: MGOF), a leading provider of
Internet-enabling business software and services, announced today that it has signed Center for Talent
Retention (CTR) as a customer for its Mangomind Internet file sharing and online storage service.
CTR is dedicated to helping organizations attract, engage, and retain employee talent.
The company employs 20 professionals (employees and contractors) nationwide - most of whom work from home
offices - who need to communicate, share and access files from various remote locations.
Before installing Mangomind, CTR used e-mail to collaborate on documents and share information,
which led to multiple versions of documents circulating and difficulty in tracking the most recent
copy. Furthermore, CTR employees could only work on shared documents while online.
"Since implementing the Mangomind service, we have seen increased productivity company wide.
Our employees working across the country can now effortlessly collaborate on documents and projects without
wasting time trying to track down the latest version of a file," said Kim Egan, chief operating officer
for CTR. "After looking at a number of products, we chose Mangomind because it is simply far less cumbersome.
It also allows us to work offline - a necessity with professionals that travel frequently."
Mangomind's unique caching capability stores a copy of the file on the local machine, allowing users to
work on files offline. Files are automatically synchronized on the Mangomind Drive once the user reconnects
to the Internet.
Designed to maximize convenience for the end-user, Mangomind works seamlessly with Windows, requiring no
period of adjustment or training for the user. A user can be on the Mangomind service, sharing files with
colleagues and clients immediately after downloading the software.
Security for Mangomind is provided by RSA (Nasdaq: RSAS). Files are protected by 128-bit encryption as
they are being transferred as well as when they are stored at the hosting facility. Each Mangomind user is
authenticated using state-of-the-art private key encryption. Furthermore, Mangomind allows users to define
access permissions for users or groups of users on individual drives, files and folders. Permission settings
are easily specified using the same familiar Microsoft Windows procedures.
Egan added, "From the beginning, Mangosoft has impressed us with their level of commitment to their
customers. They proactively contact us to make sure that we aren't experiencing any troubles with the
service. Although we haven't needed to contact them, I would not hesitate to do so with any
question or concern."
"We are very pleased with the success CTR is finding with Mangomind. We are committed to making communication,
file sharing and remote file access easier, more secure and more cost-efficient for businesses of all sizes,"
said Dale Vincent, CEO of Mangosoft. "We know what a critical issue security is for all businesses - especially
as the number of remote workers continues to grow - and we have designed Mangomind to address these security
concerns."
