Browsers may hang on computers that do not have IE 4 or newer installed
Older versions of Microsoft's TCP/IP contain resource management bugs that can cause your web browser to hang. These problems have been fixed in IE 4 and newer. Microsoft reports that these bugs affect all software that open and close TCP sockets over prolonged periods.
If you encounter web browser hangs on computers that do not have IE 4 or newer installed, the presence of error 10055 messages in your clpagent.log file will confirm that you are encountering these resource management bugs.
Solution/Work-around
