CacheLink Performance page can be slow when using older versions of IE 4
The MangoSoft CacheLink Performance display is implemented as a Java applet. This applet, like any other Java applet, will run slowly in IE if the Java JIT (Just In Time) compiler option is not enabled. This option is not enabled by default in some versions of IE.
Solution/Work-around
If the MangoSoft CacheLink Performance display is slow, enable JIT as follows:
- Launch Internet Explorer
- Select the "View->Internet Options..." menu item.
- Select the "Advanced" page.
- Check the "JIT compiler for virtual machine" option. This
option can be found in the "Java VM" group.
